The thing about steampunk is that it is more of a literary phenomenon than an actual flesh-and-blood clique (although I'm sure there are people who do the steampunk thang)--the term applies to a sub-genre of sci-fi and was basically a bastardization of a term from another sci-fi sub-genre: cyberpunk. There's a few of them now, I think (steampunk, dieselpunk, biopunk, etc. ⚠️ ↗)

I made that to use as a siggy on here but the admin wouldn't let me use it because the character is so well-known and they were afraid of a lawsuit, which seems unlikely to me, but I get it.

Those were made for DU too. There's a site where you can get a whole series of those, and we love to put our own text on them for fun. :)

The Eye of Providence (the All-Seeing Eye) Thought Police pic, also loved the "MCMLXXXIV" reference.

Yeah, I did that as a response to Bush Jr. It was part of an actual dollar bill scanned and reworked.

Don't be fooled by those pics; it hasn't always been great, but I do thank my lucky stars that I've had some wonderful girls in my life until this point. They have a way of everything better, no? :)
