Might be due to the fact they feel a slight level of attraction or can admit at very least, aesthetic appeal, given the public backlash and stigma of attraction to youth.. they take a stance of violent opposition as to quell any possible thought they could find the picture attractive.

Some homophobic people are exactly the same, start out assaulting homosexual persons, end up being homosexual themselves.
