At what age did she change?

When I was little, my mother would somewhat threaten me with hell for not believing in her god. I suppose that I did believe at one time for growing up with her. I may not have believed everything in the Bible, but I believed the fundamentals.

As I got older, my beliefs in a magical invisible sky daddy were being challenged. Eventually, I could no longer believe it. I suppose that your ex-partner also could have had her beliefs challenged in some way; eventually, she could also give up her anti beliefs about adult-child intimate relationships. It really seems like child indoctrination.

Based on what you told me earlier, I am assuming that she might have been in her early teens when she changed. Doesn't that seem a little unlikely? It's usually harder to change people when they are older.
