About DanPedo...

The last Danish Pedophile Association was founded in 1983. Its native name translates to "The Pedophile Group". It was originally a group within the larger national gay and lesbian association (LBL).

In 1985 DanPedo were kicked from LBL, because of resistance from especially lesbians. After this, the founder of LBL and first person in the world to be gay married, Axel Axgil, joined DanPedo in sympathy.

DanPedo were included in a hearing early 90es, about a proposal to further criminalize child porn.

They were dissolved 2004, partly because of political debate, where the Danish Peoples Party (nationalist populist party) wanted to have DanPedo dissolved by the guvernement. At the same time a Danish group planned to steal the DanPedo members list. Fear made the group dissolve itself. (According to a source on BoyChat this was done by a few members in violation of DanPedo's own rules.)

December 2005 the Danish Ministry of Justice found that DanPedo was protected by the constitution, just like everyone else, and couldn't be dissolved by law. But then it was too late.
