Actually, Dawkins did not even attack "pedophilia in the Church", only abuse of authority by priests. Dawkins even presented the case of a priest who got touchy-feely with him when he was a child as an example that was not particularly abusive. Dawkins made it clear to the priest that it wasn't welcome, and the priest left him alone.

On the other hand, Dawkins is apparently of the opinion that indoctrinating defenseless children with harmful religious beliefs is itself abusive, and far more abusive than a little slap-and-tickle. I can't disagree.
