I had read about her last year.

I'm afraid that, if I had gone with her, we probably would have gained a crew member mid-voyage (assuming the voyage lasted longer than 9 months.)

BTW, I've been a sailor most of my life. (Among other things :)

I used to own a 30 foot sloop, sailing it about Lake Ontario. Today, I've swallowed the anchor. :-/

Oh well, good memories...
