Flavia de Luce

Have any of you read the Flavia de Luce mysteries by Alan Bradley? Flavia is an 11yo girl who's into chemistry and solves mysteries. I have not read these books yet, but am intrigued by the descriptions. Apparently they're pretty popular. Can you recommend them?
