According to the bloggerati ( the story doesn't seem to be confirmed by bigger print media; though there is a mention at the Washington Post's blog ) "Bieyanka Moore" stole the learner's permit of a 19 year old stripper whose only mistake was helping her out. She used the ID theft to obtain a driver's license and now had an ID that could pass muster when the industry demanded legal proof of age.
Anytime the law tries to prevent youth from making choices for themselves it incentivizes them to lie. Employers are forced to do ID checks. But ultimately cases of stolen IDs including Licenses, SSNs and other I-9 documentation are caught only after the issuing authority or a reporting agency contacts the employer about the stolen ID.
In most cases the employer was either doing their due diligence, and is found blameless of another's ID theft; or was found to be negligent.
But in the voodoo world of Kiddie Pronz charges, an employer may have done everything to verify the legitimacy of an employee and still have created magic-eye-toxins which corrupt all who aren't LEAs and which recreate the offense forever multiplied by the number of images times the number of views in virtual space.
There are those in Adult Pronz, like Ginger Lynn who are of the opinion that Traci Lords played the system for all it was worth in using a fake ID to do underage work. Traci profited until she was 18, and then was exposed as a minor only after she wasn't one anymore, and rode the publicity into a "mainstream career" while those who'd payed her had to remove the content they'd contracted with her to produce.
Of course, as a minor, she can only be the "exploited victim," rather than the exploiter.
If the legal industry was to go by looks alone, they'd be in serious trouble because unless we're dealing with Women with stunted development or endocrine disorders; biological adulthood is a few years in the past of those entering legal adulthood. ( And its sitcom TV which seems to be the major employer of those with growth disorders. )
