The films had all been shown on TV, if they constituted child porn then the TV stations should be guilty of broadcasting child porn.

I think that it is pretty clear that the police got upset with this man because they discovered that he had fantasies going on inside his mind that were not of their liking and decided to attempt and jail him as revenge.
