I will start by saying that I agree with Minstrel in principle on the media representation of this case. Whatever we hear is likely to be biased and to represent the worst case scenario.
But what really sticks out to me is that he allegedly was having some type of sexual interaction with a boy (or boys) around ten years of age at the college campus, and in a locker room shower. Why at the college? Why the shower? Why not in his office with the door locked? But why the college at all? The way it sounds he could have had many opportunities to be with boys in a more private setting. What I think is that he did it at the campus because he was extremely arrogant. He had arrogance of a person who makes the rules, and enforces the rules, but has no expectation that those rules actually apply to him. The same arrogance that seems common in politicians (Eliot Spitzer ⚠️ ↗, Mark Foley ⚠️ ↗, Chris Ortloff ⚠️ ↗) and other wealthy (Herman Cain ⚠️ ↗) and powerful people ("Judge" William Adams - a piece of shit we have seen enough of).
