Where do you get this?
From the article I linked to, I find two instances of witnesses:
"in 2002, a graduate assistant saw Sandusky sexually assault a naked boy, estimated to be about 10 years old, in the locker room of the Lasch Football Building on campus. The grad student and his father reported what he saw to Paterno, who immediately told Curley"
[...]
"Curley denied that the assistant had reported anything of a sexual nature, calling it "merely 'horsing around,'" the 23-page grand jury report said."
Of course, "sexual assault" is often broadly interpreted. In America, nudity is equated with sex, and touching can be "assault" - so Curley could well have been telling the truth - that normal horseplay was interpreted as a sexual assault.
The other case:
"Another child, Victim 8, as jurors named him, is known only as a boy, about 11 to 13, who was seen pinned against a wall, by a janitor who observed Sandusky performing oral sex on him in fall 2000, the jury said."
Of course, "pinned to a wall" can be subjective. Who can tell what really happened?
However, we do have one clue: two separate witnesses claim that they saw a grown man sexually assaulting a boy. When they saw this terrible crime, they immediately called 911 and then charged in to get that horrible rapist away from his victim ...
... except that they didn't. Instead, they bided their time and eventually got around to mentioning it to the coach.
Does that sound like the actions of someone who has witnessed a rape? Or the actions of a homophobe who wanted to make sure the coach knew what was going on so he could get that homosexual away from the manly football team?
We don't really know what happened, but some of the clues suggest that the media is telling tales again.
