That was just totally unlike you.

Selling a country to prosecute guys like Sandusky (in the worst case scenario, Sandusky never harmed and never could harm as many people as the falling economy can and has) deserves that kind of language.

Once I used to think that the escalating costs of policing and jailing and monitoring for sex crimes (and "sex crimes") would mean the end of the policy when they started bankrupting institutions and local governments and eating into the federal budgets.

It isn't happening that: it seems the answer for them is just printing moar dollars.

Of course, it isn't the only American priority that is skewed. But it is the one that most affects me as me. I have a right to get a little emotional about it - in a way that I am usually not about the War on Some Terror, the War on Some Drugs, and other similar mispriorities.
