Yes, I have seen her in Hanna Montana. She is the better actress, in my opinion.

Now that the series is officially over I can let you in on a BIG secret:

They hired Miley Cyrus to play Chloe Stewart / Hannah Montana because she could sing and she had the same perky and fun personality that Chloe/Hannah had. Not because she was a OMG! actress. Of course, from my viewpoint, they got a win because she is very cute (and was even cuter and hotter back at that age - I can only imagine how she would look in "Can't Be Tamed" attire at age 11-14!!). But even I recognize that her acting is only competent, not great - least of all when the scene is not outright comedic (she is also clearly a better comedian than "serious" actress). I don't complain; she works in the role, imho. And the possibilities that her own RL gave to the series probably made it more interesting (not all child/teen actors have a RL celebrity dad, after all). But if you asked me which of the sitcom AGs of the 1990-1995 generation has shown the most raw acting talent, I think my pick would be Jennette McCurdy - in any case, I can think of some before Miley. And I am a complete Smiler.
