I would like to be polite, but I cannot. It's more likely that I would say nothing than something. Even if it were abuse in both my view and the boy's, I would rather take other precautionary measures to avoid further abuse than denounce. Even if he deserves time in the box, it is from hard to impossible to contain the damage for the kids once it hits the legal system. Every case also strengthens the anti position to argue, and gives them socially approved ammunition to become more paranoid about adult teachers and trainers physicality (as 28 suggested - and I would add charity workers here). Is it worth it, when it's as simple as take the kid away from the football team?
