"""""The girl had asked to be home-schooled after coming home Thursday. When her mother said no, Ashlynn's sister found her the next day in a bedroom closet. She had hanged herself with a scarf."""""

Here are the problems I see from just this line.

The sacred status of the horrid institution that is the educational system.

Parents don't take their kids seriously.

Parents just don't "connect" with their kids because of how they treat them.

School is a horrible social institution and needs to be abolished and rebuilt from the ground up.

Societal views of children NEEDS to change. This is imperative for ALL movements in the world. Well, at least all movements that want to see improvement in the human race.

The mom thought she was "strong" enough? The mom probably gave off the vibe that it wasn't a big deal and that her daughter should just "get over it". Too many people have this viewpoint.

The way children feel about this shit is REAL. People often say paedophiles are the ones who don't care about what children think, but I feel I know more about a child than their own parent. If not for instinct most would WANT to come live with me. I've had a girl cuddling up with me (Q). Her mom said, "you want him to adopt you." She nods her head and snuggles in closer.

I get children. Youth rights advocates get children. Most of society doesn't.
