If you want me to come around to agree that any form of capitalism is the "only ethical and effective economic system" for the great majority of people, then that will only happen if I some day grow to love dealing with crippling college loans; paying a fortune for food every month and still having to go without as much as I need for the duration; constantly worry about how I am going to pay my rent, cable bills, utilities, and then have enough left over for a modicum of recreation; and to frequently stress out with worry about affording any prescription medication I need and struggling to maintain the health insurance to cover a portion of it--not to mention reading about the terrible wars and impoverishment going on in so many places in the world, which my sense of ethics prevents me from not caring about as long as I have it somewhat better than they do for living in a more developed country. If I should ever become so illogical as to see all of the above as ethical and effective for the great majority of workers in the world, then...you will have a convert, dude! But don't hold your breath for that, or you may end up turning blue on us.
