There's a reason Hollywood calls it "development Hell." Most blogerrati rumours are either wishful thinking, or are based on the film at some previous stage of development. And much as GLers get fixated on "previous stages of development," things aren't shot until they're shot, and aren't screened until they're screened.

Its sometimes possible for a later rerelease to restore cut footage. But if they choose not to shoot it that way when they get around to it, it ain't gonna happen.
