Freeganism isn't about being "as cheap as possible", for some, yes I guess.. many homeless ppl do it, w/o knowing it and some homeless ppl do it by choice, so I've read.. But it's really about fighting back, and I also wouldn't call freeganism a hobby.. its more of an lifestyle, then a hobby, same as veganism. Hobbies are something that one does in his/her pass time.

I agree with you your point, though.
