If everyone treats someone like a monster...

... there is a good chance that person will become a monster.

Paedophiles are shunned from society. Even if they don't come out of the toybox they are still indirectly told by those they love, "if you are a paedophile I'd beat your ass."

When one identifies themselves as a paedohpile they take in everything that is said about paedophiles. Sick monsters, they see children as objects (even though most of society does), any good they do is a facade to keep people from seeing the hideous monster trying to molest children.

Only the mentally strong can pull through this barrage of mental/emotional attacks.

I'd wager that many paedophiles who are abusive were not always like that.

They started out as the helpless adolescent first realizing that their friends five year old sister was hotter than the most popular girl in school. Then come years and years of guilt ridden thoughts and accusations that this teen is a monster, regardless of whether they even did anything bad.

You can save one million children from death, but have a sexual relation with just one and it is all for naught.
