Re: Giving Thanks

Well, I should be crushed that you didn't give thanks for having me here but on a busy day that can be overlooked. :)

Me? I'm giving thanks for the internet which allows us to come together, which previous generations of girl-lovers could not do. If the government had not finally overcome the obstruction by AT&T, we would never have had the internet at all. We could have had it 20 years sooner; I wonder how many peds lived lives of quiet desperation because of these delaying tactics.

I give thanks to the girls who showed me the light, after years of darkness.

I give thanks that we have quality posters here, while at the same time lamenting the absence of so many good ones who no longer come at all.

I give thanks that the newer generations seem to be finding their own way, despite the constant barrage of negativity all around them and the systemized oppression that any disenfranchised minority must face.

I give thanks that this, too, shall pass. We will either win our way to acceptance or be hunted to extinction; I am making no predictions either way.

I give thanks that, come Judgment Day, if they ever hold it, the peds will be first in line with the children, and all of the nay-sayers will take a back seat.

And, I give thanks for the moderators who keep this place viable.
