What to look for in recent news

1) The Penn State scandal has turned out to be not the only underage sex scandal in American colleges. Syracuse now joins them.

2) An 18y tweeted about Gov. Sam Brownback (Kansas) visiting her high school: "he sucked". The governor's staff harassed her. She refused to apologize. Brownback showed a lot more decency and respect for liberty than his staff (and indeed, than many who opened their mouth on this affair) by apologizing to her for all that she was subjected to.

3) Nestle joins the ranks of companies in favor of child unemployment.

4) Norway's own Columbine killer is deemed legally insane so he will get away with murdering dozens of teens. (I know I quote Szasz all the time: but again, the insanity defense is a way that people forfeit personal responsibility with all the ill consequences this entails. Never better shown than here) Of course, had he brought dozens of teens to orgasm, I am sure he wouldn't get away with that and would be executed.

5) Or maybe not. Despite stepdaughter's allegations of sexual abuse since she was 11, pedophile Daniel Ortega was triumphantly (and probably unconstitutionally) elected President of Nicaragua again (his 4th term, 3rd elected term). Dick Cheney is still shitting his pants about it. But hey, this is a brown skinned, Catholic country, surely it cannot happen in a white Anglo country?

6) Think again. A former Tasmania Council MP (yes, folks, there really is a place called Tasmania. It's in Australia.) got away with having sex and filming it with a 12yo prostitute. And not for being a MP - he was taking a dopamine agonist (for Parkinson's treatment) and that was his story! That makes me think that all that Australian pedophiles need is to find not the right lawyer, but the right doctor!
