This reminds me of a girl I know who was 10 yo at the time. Her mental development was far ahead from her peers and even many adults.

She didn't like to communicate with her classmates and despite her intelligence and mental development adults still treated her as a child.

She's a teen now, has no friends and refuses to communicate with her parents anymore. She's not attractive either so boys will not pay attention to her.

I feel so sorry for her.
