I'm sure you never plan on giving me any reason to ban you, because I'm sure that if a problem arose, you would be willing to talk about it first. And I would always be willing to talk first before initiating a ban. As long as you are willing to discuss a problem in a civil fashion, I would never have a reason to ban you. I certainly don't look through your posts looking for a reason to ban you; to the contrary, I tend to glean much insight from what you have to say. And I am still the same person I always was, so there is no need to be uncomfortable about me becoming "The Man," or something like that.
The important thing for all posters to remember are the following three things:
1) Read the Seven Rules closely, and do your best not to break them;
2) Along those lines, always think before you hit the 'Post' button, and make sure that anything you may have posted while in the heat of anger was not expressed in a manner that would violate the FAQs;
3) Always strive to give support to others when they need it, and be willing to accept that same support when it's offered to you during your times of need.
We all make mistakes sometimes and require being censured--even if to a polite and gentle degree--by the mods. They are the people who insure that the forum stays online, and that this board doesn't become a mindless free-for-all that our enemies always hope we become. We never expect any poster to be perfect, and everyone runs afoul of the rules to at least a minor extent on occasion. But by following the above advice, you should minimize the amount of times you get censured, and you can more or less ensure you will never get a banning.
Everything will be okay if you follow that advice, my friend :-) I like having you here, I am not seeking to ban you. So at ease and relax!
