Actually, you might have done extraordinary in the

class. Why? Because you were likely less concerned with social/philosophical/idealogical issues back then, and such a class would have provided what you apparantly needed most----an outlet; an outlet for excess energy and perhaps frustration. I dare say people like you (which was people like me at one time, as well) would have done surprisingly well. But the bad side affect we would have inevitably suffered is too much brainwashing. When all said and done; I'm sure you're better off not having gone.
