My take on this is simple: If little girls want to look nice, let them.. if it's their choice. If that LG just wanted to look good because it was her very first dance, then why is that such a prob?

Some kids enjoy looking nice. I get my haircut, eyebrows waxed (I'm a man, btw), why because I sometimes feel like looking good and clean, is that at all bad? And, I'm not all for looks, some kids will be, others will not.
