I guess you already know that Rossington and Collins were members of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd?

And many band members from ARS were previous Skynyrd members. (IF My memory didn't fail me on this...)

Some of the "other genre" music I mentioned, is quite far out jazz/fusion. But I like it.

Cooder, Lindley are tex-mex inspired, and Buena Vista Social Club is Cuban music.

My favourite Lindley song must be 'She took of my romeos.' (Oh, that pretty little woman, she took off my romeos...

(Romeos are a kind of boots, I guess?)

He also have other big hits, like 'Bye, Bye Love,' 'Turning point' and Spodie. And also, 'Won't you buy me a Mercury' etc, I dont remember the title of that song.
