How many people do you know use the word "GAY" in their speech to when referring to happiness? That's fucking right? And it's been decades since the words been tainted.

Exactly. Meanings change. There is no reason why "paedophile" is exempt from this linguistic rule.

Therefore, I feel very strongly that it is self-abusive and generally harmful to those attracted to young people, to use that word to describe ourselves with it.

Maybe. But I don't care. They don't hate me by how I'm called, they hate me by whom I am attracted at. They don't hate nigs and love African Americans; they don't hate fags and love the LGBT; they don't hate Muhammadans and love Muslims.

I think it is a terrible misjustice to ourselves to use that word ever again.....or at least in our lifetimes. It does not mean what it originally meant, and that will not change in our lifetime.

I am not responsible for the ignorance of others, thanks.

For the rest of our lives it will be synonomous with PREDATOR.

And what is wrong with predators? Tigers, lions, sharks, snakes, crocodiles, spiders, mantises, eagles, hawks, owls, crows, dolphins, wolves, bears... they are predators - and they are more beautiful and majestic than the herbivores and omnivores upon which they prey.

You are ok with pop, so go search for "Hunter" by Dido.

But that too is misrepresentative of us because we are also socially and emotionally attracted - albeit, as occasionally as it might be - to some adults who may have qualities that are typical found in youth. A saying comes to mind right now: "Young at heart". There are plenty adults who are young at heart a in the many ways we individually like.

It is a tendency. There is nothing particularly wrong or even misleading with calling a whole by its tendency. I like(d) Thomas Sangster a lot, A LOT - but I am realistically not a BLer. I can mention dozens of cute celeb LGs but not enough LBs to count to my hand. Every day I see a LG that I think is hawt; but it's far from everyday that I see such a LB. And worse with adults. I just don't notice sexually people over 15 or so (and who look it - Lupe seriously looked tween before undergoing bewb liquidity expansion). They could as well be monkeys to me (no offence intended to either monkeys, zoophiles, or adults).

And why the fuck would we want to claim that we are ONLY "socially and emotionally" attracted to you people who are young? It would seem to me that this is a sort of obsession;

Let them think whatever they want. If I cared, I wouldn't even be here, to make it short.

In other words: Why, if society cannot live with the sexual portion of our attraction to youth, do we want to insist we our so consumed by young people?

"Let's be realistic - let's demand the impossible."

It reminds me of how some fucking asshole gay guys (and I don't hate all gays, but rather only this one type) purposely act all flambuoyant and diva-ish, and outright verablly insist/profess that they can only "EVER" be sexually attracted TO OTHER MEN.

Oh, I am like that with little girls. You do need to confront sometimes you know.

Now I don't care what anyone says, or even if they are a biological "expert", it is simply not true.

In this you are right. Physical stimulation, no matter by whom (or what) can, and in reality often does, feel good. Yes, I have been able to feel good that way too. That doesn't change my orientation anymore than masturbation (oooh, a man's hand!) makes me gay.

And what's more, is this: While gays can afford, socially and legally to delude themselves in this way, it is veeeeeeeeeery damaging for us to do it.

Why? This way at least I don't delude any grown woman (or man) into thinking I have an interest. LGs might still be off limits, but changing my attitude will not alone change the offlimitsness.

Only appearing like we're into young girls (no matter the way), appears like we are consciously fixated and obsessed. And this is also another human wildcard trait, which surely feeds society distrust of us.

Maybe, but screw them!

I do not live for them.

If I did, I would have already shot myself.
