Obviously people don't fall in love and live happily ever after, but that is a goal for relationships isn't it? To find the person you want to be with forever.

Without addressing anything else in your post, I would say that yes, our culture pushes people towards "finding the person you want to be with forever" WITHOUT educating people about how realistic or unrealistic that expectation might be. But I do not think that any realistic person thinks that the FIRST person they love will or should be the person they will be with forever. In fact, I think a girl who has had a one or more "romantic" relationships with "pedos" might have a more realistic idea of what to expect in the future.

Unfortunately, I have been to weddings where phrases like "she's the one!" were used as if they were fact, then four years later (during bitter divorce proceedings) it is "she's a fucking bitch..."

Considering how utterly broken the idea of "marriage" is in my culture, I think that my relationships with little girls are wonderful and pure by comparison.
