The difference is that many believe a PEDO to be something totally other than what it is, where-as GAY and NIGGER meant just what they were....a homo, and a dark-colored person from African regions, and that is what they were hater for (what they were).

A pedo is someone who wants to have sex with children (girls, boys or both).

I want to have sex with children.

A + B = I am not mischaracterized by the word pedo.

I am, if at all, mischaracterized by the prejudice that sex is invariably harmful to children - and this is why I think the war in on children, not on us. However in order to fight that prejudice it has no relevance whether pedos exist or not or are called in any other way.
