Re: A disturbing trend re: sexualization of girls!

As time marches on nothing changes except the style of clothing. In this day of age people try to pretend there's something unique about our times.

Ever look at the turn of the 20th century tinted post cards of little girls? These had LG's dolled up and quit a few dressed as flappers, looking sexy with the coy dreamy expressions. You had famous LG's such as Shirley Temple wearing skimpy outfits which left a little to the imagination.

In the old Or Gang (Little Rascals) you had LG's dolled up looking like flappers,with the stylish bob hairdo's and the big made up eyes and cupid bowed painted lips.

While visiting my parents I was looking through my moms old photo album. There was a picture of her and some of her cousins in bathing suits. These bathing suits were made to look good and made them look sexy. These pictures were from the 40's.

There's no new trend of the sexualization of little girls, it's always been with us.
