Pranksters have proven, time and again, that its easy enough to say anything outrageous and get on these tabloid TV shows. The producers are so hungry for sensationalism that only the most extreme claims are aired. Sometimes they find people whose real experiences fill their ratings needs, sometimes they find folks who will manufacture controversy to fit.

And if you really were concerned that someone you loved ( child or not ) was about to harm themselves ( in your estimation ) would you call tabloid TV?
