There is presently a solution. Its about not basing expectations on mythology.

The arranged marriage has certain benefits, and certain outcomes.

Chemical attraction creates certain feelings and lasts a predictable duration.

Asking that they be the same, while a delightful fantasy, is just a fantasy.

I don't get my hopes dashed by reading too many Victorian novels and hinging my fortunes on a long-lost wealthy relative bequeathing me an estate. I could, if I wanted to live in fantasy. But I'd be setting myself up for disappointment.
