Do you mean how many left me and how many I left?

I have never had a little girl "leave" me, however, our relationship changed at a certian age. We remained friends, but the intimate moments stopped, and it was a natural progression. It was so subtle that I didn't even notice it all that much, except one day I realized that our relationship has changed, and that's pretty much it. I miss all those times, but now they have become more of a observational time in their life, where I get to see what I poured into their lives, and how they use it.

I have never left a little girl either, but I had to let them go, to naturally progress them into the next level, I have never pushed a little girl away, but also I have never hung on too long to them either.

I believe it makes it easier for us both if I do it this way, it's a thing that just happens naturally for me..it hurts me some, but mostly I just cherish the moments that we had together and hang on to the memories of what we had.

Sappy? Maybe, but that's how I feel...
