It's not an easy question.

I'd stay in a relationship of mutual love and respect. Why would the girl stay, knowing I'm an exclusive and will remain so for life? Could she really live happily in a relationship that is more of loving friendship than story-book romance?

I'm skeptical of life-long marriage-type relationships. I've seen too many degenerate into bitterness and outright hatred. People staying together for social, economic and religious reasons, without love. I would not wish such a fate upon a girl in love with me.

I see no reason why MAAs need mirror the worst aspects of society, especially when our type of love demands a more realistic attitude.
