Did she ask for a "donation" for her time in response to your previous e-mails ( before she accused you of being a Pedo? ) If not, then this is definitely an attempted shake-down.

If you say she's important, I'll believe you. But in my limited experience, Wicca tends to be a lot more decentralized than to require appeasement of one ego. ( As opposed to, say, getting into a spat with a Catholic Cardinal or an LDS Bishop. )
