Pedo song or not?

I remember hearing this song all the time on the radio and it always made me think about the little girl I had a crush on who lived down the street from me. I use to meet her when she was leaving from school and play with her at the park near her house. She moved away when she was 9. Today she would be about 18 which was the age I was when I first met her. I wonder if she still thinks of me from time to time?
