I'd say that our persecution, which is unique in the modern world, has created schemas, filters through which we (MAPs in the general sense) view the world, and it's far more likely--obvious, really--that our perspective is strongly skewed by that. We see the State Monster and its influence everywhere, and we see the tangential issues in vastly simplified and black & white terms, as with Stahntii's painting the majority of welfare recipients as undeserving leeches. That kind of thing permeates the MAP worldview at every level.

Every one of us has our own unique schema or filter that is influenced by all of our life experiences (GL related or otherwise).

We are not the only group to point a lot of fingers at the State Monster. And many of us don't, or at least, we recognize a broad variety of factors as contributing to the issues we face, and see that there are many subtleties and shades of grey that prevent an easy solution to our struggles.

...and if you reject the indoctrination in any capacity then you are viewed as an anti or a traitor, even if you aren't necessarily called one up front.

I'll speak only for myself regarding this. I try to be non-judgmental of folks here and anywhere, but where I am, it is not due to opinions regarding GL related issues. Instead, it is due to a general perception of perceived honesty and integrity, of degree of adherence to rationality and logic. My own answers to a lot of the "big questions" that are discussed here are constantly being updated and revised according to the experiences I have and the information I learn from a broad variety of sources.
