I was touched on a couple of occasions as a 13 year old. It wasn't the worst thing that happened to me, I resent that teacher who strapped me aged 10 far more than this guy. Even so, this man remained my perception of the typical pedophile for many years and probably was a barrier to accepting my own attraction when it hit me in my early 30s. I don't hate him, more disappointed as I would be for any CLer who can't keep his hands to himself. Pity really, if it weren't for that incident he would have been one of the coolest adults I ever knew.

Now, having been attacked by an intruder in my own home a while back I think I've got a sense of perspective here on that "V" word. In that situation my life was genuinely threatened, what happened to me as a 13 yo I've always thought of as a strange, somewhat pleasurable experience but I'm glad it didn't go any further.
