Anti-Government

"It doesn't take a genius to realize that the desperation of our condition tends to breed anti-government sentiments at every level of the posters' ideology, which makes it all too suspect."

This might be true if the general population were actually literate about various forms of Govt and their underlying principles. Or maybe if the received wisdom were coherent. Or even if the status-quo were a functional Govt.

But since mere understanding of what we presently have requires digging up buried histories, and asking the questions beyond the ones taught in school, such conversations are for those who already look more deeply and ask more frequently.

And yes, Peds do this. So do Sci-Fi fans, who have alternately had more Technocrats and Libertarians than are found in the general population ( as well as Socialists and other political stripes. )

Anyone who asks beyond what is, or asks, "why not?" is bound to look past the status-quo. And if that's anti-Government, then we've only come to the present form through a long history of those who were anti-Government towards their status quo.

And if they were all Pedos, then we're in truly great company ;p
