Under the assumption that a remake of Du Sel Sur La Peau is beyond the realm of possibility, my second choice, something that some movie studio could sensibly consider for a remake, would be playing the surly drunken hermit in Father Goose (originally played by Cary Grant). I would insist on some changes to the script for realism, though.
