No, it can't happen here, and a man at his age who has to play in cover bands and depend on a reputation from the 1970's is hardly wealthy enough to be above the law.

I don't believe I read anywhere that he had to play in cover bands; it was something he chose to do. He's also done some solo stuff and played with a number of other musicians, but maybe he just does it because he loves it.

Admit it. You insist he is guilty because you don't like his music, and for no other reason whatsoever.

Erm, I have their greatest hits album, and "Sweet Home Alabama" was one of my karaoke staples. I do like their music, even if I don't always agree with their politics. They're not my favorite band, but I listen to a lot of different things.

None of the facts matter.

Yes, the facts matter, but I am no more inclined to believe half of the stuff said here than I am half the news I read. Pyle may or may not be guilty, but I want to know what the child's position is on the matter. We know one of his daughters claims he didn't molest her. That's good enough for me. And even if he had, if the child involved doesn't want the person to go to jail, then I support their position. Remember, I was one of the people who didn't want Polanski to be extradited because the girl involved didn't want Polanski to go to prison, even though Polanski was clearly guilty and never denied his guilt. The child's (or ex-child's) opinion is all-important to me. But in the absence of that info, I consider the info I have and filter it through what I know generally. My experiences may taint my views, but so do yours, and when it comes to kids I will err on their side over an adult's. Sorry, but I'm a child lover, not a person-who-has-sex-with-kids lover.
