If you've heard Tori Amos's new album Night of Hunters ⚠️ ↗ (a concept album telling the tale of a woman with magical powers in a broken relationship who must contend with dark forces gathering around her), you might've wondered who the little girl is that accompanies her on several of the tracks. Well, it's actually her 11-year-old daughter Natashya Hawley, who portrays a shapeshifting spirit who assists Tori's character on her journey. It's a nice change of pace from Tori's other stuff (which I like too) in both content (a fantasy-themed concept album) and musical style (no pop here--it's all classical-style music.) Check it out--very interesting.
