No need to suppose. In some cases there was no declaration, so we can't know.

In other cases, there was, so we do know what they were thinking at the time they left.

I'm gonna have to extrapolate from those ⛓️‍💥[Removed] to those we don't, and assume, in the absence of confirmation, that each of these people had their own reasons which vary from each others' as well as from yours.

The way to avoid discussing Politics, is to not discuss it. You've been eager to start such threads in the past, so it might be difficult to break the habit. But its very possible to take responsibility for your own posting activity and not start threads like the one we're in right now where you discuss them.

But for some, CL does impinge upon politics. And some have left because GC wasn't political enough for them.
