Was just wondering..

Does anyone else feel like the story of vampires are synonyms for pedophiles? I feel like I can indentify with them so much, especially the newest "breed" that are dominating TV like Stephen in Vampire Diaries and Bill in True Blood. The only difference is that in True Blood they are outed Vampires and in the Vampire Diaries, they still live in secret, which I indentify with the most. So what do you think?
