Two things, my gf and her friends.

I have a couple of questions..

1. Where I am, geographically, the age of consent is 16, which is the same age as the person whom has become my partner, here, we are legal. Can I call her my girlfriend on these boards? I don't particularly want to call her "My young friend" or something.. just doesn't feel right. I see her as an equal to me, anyway, is that ok?

2. Her friends aren't as, accepting, as we hoped they would be. We share a lot of friends and move in the same circles, they are all fine. We get together in large groups and everyone there is fine (I am in my early 30's and look like I am in my early 20's), most of my friends know and even go as far as to say they know why I like her and things, they all accept us as a couple, however her friends, being her age, not as mature as she, are having issues. One threatened to call the police (stopped saying that when she was made aware we are legal). I have been considering holding some kind of get together for a group of mixed friends, so they see everything is fine, we are happy together and she is safe.

What do you think? (Her friends don't have issue with the fact we are both female, just the age diff)
