Generally speaking, I've found the same thing. However, there is a certain stripe of that community--a minority to be sure--who would scream for your testicles if you were a 30-something male dating a 16-year-old female. Complete hypocrites. Still, I am glad you found love with this girl. Cherish her, and never forget that the world can be a harsh and unforgiving place and you were lucky indeed to find her.
