Linked below will be a video presentation from the prominent psychologist Dr. James Cantor, whose expertise lies in the area of treating sex offenders. B4U-ACT is asking the posters on our boards to watch as much of the video as you are inclined, listen to Cantor's public speech on the subject of brain research and pedophilia, and assess his statements on identifying and treating pedophiles. This feedback can be provided right here in this thread, and the results will be collected and collated by B4U-ACT. We do not ask that everyone here watch the entire video, but please pay attention to the final ten minutes of the lecture, because this is where Cantor makes some important statements and conclusions about "treating" pedophilia which make his actual goals clear. Please note that Dr. Cantor's expertise is in forensics, so he is not overly familiar with the multitude of MAPs who are law-abiding and not in jail or committed to an institution, and this is a problem that B4U-ACT is working to correct.
