The way I view children vs. society.

Often people condemn MAPs for having a "bad" view on children. To them viewing children sexually is the worst way to view children. This is all in the mind though. I argue that most of society views children in a worse way than many MAPs. Let's analyze how I view children.

If they are little girls I will likely see them as sexy lil vixens. This is only part of the whole though.

I view them as amazing, cunning, bubbly, energetic, resilient, happy, worthy, exciting, deserving of respect. They are people NOW, not just potential adults. They deserve to lead their own lives and follow their own hearts.

Society views children as, what John Holt called it, "love objects". Children are there for adults. They are there to please adults. They must do what adults say. They are worthless because they can't yet do what adults want them to do. Annoying, in the way, need to be disciplined (ex: disrespected and oppressed).

I don't know, sounds like my view is a lot healthier.
