Minority Report?

It has been observed that life imitates art, and in this case I do not know whether it is imitating "1984" or "Minority Report", but in any case the implications are chilling.
As you stated, his expertise in in forensics and his experience is with sex offenders, who are for the most part criminals by definition. It would help immensely if B4U-ACT could persuade him to see the situation from the point of view of those who have loving relationships with "minors" (I put this in quotes for a reason: the dictionary definition of a child is "a human being between birth and puberty" yet our culture extends childhood way beyond any reasonable definition of it).
True pedophiles must be distinguished from situational offenders, which you seem to be doing, but just as importantly, as several here have mentioned, society's attitudes need to be changed, which may be beyond the scope of your immediate intentions.
What is relevant to us here and now is the possibility that these people may develop some "test" to see if someone is a pedophile, and that such tests will someday be included as part of pre-employment screening, as drug testing is now. I can easily envision a scenario wherein all men would be required to "pass" such a test, in order to be given a clean bill of health before taking their places as productive members of society.

Science-fictional? Perhaps, but who would have thought, back in 1949 when it was published, that the biggest mistake in "1984" would be the date?
Look around you at how our freedoms are being eroded on a daily basis and ask yourself if this research, and its goals of "identifying" pedophiles,
is a threat, not only to us but to men in general, since even the most "normal" man among us can be aroused by teenagers who were considered women in almost all cultures for most of human history, and are considered children now only by a culture that cannot find work for all of its adults and needs to keep the young off of the job market for as long as possible.

And what about the pedophiles such as myself, who were full-grown adults before becoming peds?
No theory of childhood imprinting covers us.

I have never tested less than Genius on any IQ test, which may tell you more about the tests than anything else, but I do not fit his parameters by that measure alone.
