We think alike. Yes, I'd warn her best I could then let her. If she had hurt herself beyond normal (as you pointed out), then I'd never let her risk herself again: she would be demonstrating an error in her ability to self-preserve and, thus, she'd be sick.

Yes, also, I'd stop her from drinking bleach, etc.
